I'm Cecilia, a lover of Asia. I always say I must have some lost ancestor in those latitudes, because the first time I arrived, I felt like I'd already been there... perhaps in another life.
I have a degree in Economics, specializing in Public Policy and Economics and Business with Asia. Economics and culture were my excuse to travel, but what I found was much bigger: I fell in love with its landscapes, its people... and I fell in love there too, but that's another story.

I could say I arrived one person and gradually transformed into another. Living, starting a business, and studying in China, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Thailand for years taught me that the word "normal" is relative: what is everyday life for some is a completely different world for others. Since then, multiculturalism has been my banner.

Today I try to spend most of the year in those lands. When I'm not there, I miss the unmistakable aroma of Sichuan pepper, the women stir-frying noodles in the middle of the street, or that stranger who passes by, looks at you, and gives you a smile.

With My Fem Voyage, I invite other women to lose their fear, to let themselves be surprised, and to explore these destinations in search of something more than pretty photos: a real spiritual transformation, personal or professional. Because what Asia gave me—happiness, change, and the ability to integrate with what is different—is too valuable to keep to myself and not be able to share it with other women.
